The Shoal Bay District Centre Land Use Concept Plan 1989 and the initial proposed works maps have been examined. A brief on-site survey of potential mosquito breeding areas near the initial proposed works has been carried on the 4th May 1989. The following comments are made in addition to those made in the Department of Health and Community Services report titled "Biting Insects and the Rural Area Strategy Plan, revised April 1987".
