The Medical Entomology Branch provides advice to the public, local government and other Departments directly and through the Chief Health Officer on all aspects relating to arthropods of medical importance. The Branch has a considerable operational role in mosquito prevention, monitoring and control throughout the Northern Territory to prevent exotic and endemic mosquito borne disease.
