The NT Measles Control Protocol is a practical guide to the issues of measles surveillance, diagnosis and control in the Northern Territory. It provides a framework for the investigation of sporadic cases of measles and illustrates the measures required for rapid assessment and control during an outbreak. Much of the protocol reflects experience gathered during recent measles outbreaks in the NT and throughout Australia.
