Emergency care delivered within Northern Territory (NT) remote primary healthcare centres (RPHC) has been quantified for the first time in this report. Emergency care is defined as care that would be expected to be delivered in an Emergency Department (ED). We used a retrospective audit to measure the burden and trend of emergency care undertaken in NT RPHCs from 2020 to 2024 and estimated the associated direct costs.
