Abstract
Scabies and skin sores are one of the commonest problems seen in health centres. Scabies sores often become infected. Severe scabies contributes to malnutrition in children, because their body needs extra energy to heal the skin sores. A successful community program to control scabies has occurred in one Top End community over the past two years.
