The Katherine and Daly River Region experienced unprecedented flooding and devastation in January 1998. Separate sections in this report have been devoted to the Katherine and Daly River Region floods. However, it should be stated that the processes for reconstruction and difficulties encountered were similar in both regions.The purpose of this report is to highlight contributions made by Territory Health Services for historical purposes as it may be of value for actions required in similar situations in the future.
