To assist the development of the Northern Territory policies, the Primary Health and Coordinated Care and the Epidemiology Branches of Territory Health Services have collaborated to produce this report on
the health status of children and young people in the Northern Territory. An important objective of the undertaking was, however, to produce a report in a format that informs and commands the attention of not only health professionals but the community at large.
