As an organisation we recognise that simply saying that we are committed to creating a culturally respectful and tolerant workplace is not enough. Instead we must demonstrate respect, tolerance, understanding and appreciation through our actions in the workplace. Ultimately it is not only about what we say, but how we say it; how we behave; how we interact with our work colleagues; how well we listen; how we respond; and how we contribute daily in our workplace. It is intended that this Handbook will serve as a tool for staff to assist them
in not only talking the talk in relation to cultural respect and awareness but walking the talk.
