Abstract
The recognised vector of dengue fever in Australia is Aedes aegypti, a mosquito which is at present restricted
to Queensland. A survey to determine whether it has been introduced into the Northern Territory communities of Adelaide River, Pine Creek and Daly River was conducted during April by two officers from the Medical Entomology Branch.
