The NT Breast Feeding Policies and Strategic Plan is a Community Health Program policy of the Department of Health and Community Services. It has been developed by a policy group of operational health care workers and specialist personnel from hospitals and community care within the Department, representatives of community-controlled Aboriginal health services in NT towns, Nursing Mothers Association of Australia, Childbirth Education Association, Australian College of Midwives Inc. and the Dietitians Association of Australia
