Abstract
The Northern Territory Cancer Registry is the responsibility of the Epidemiology & Assessment Branch of the Northern Territory Department of Health.
The Register provides information on the incidence of all cancers, registered within the Northern Territory, including skin cancers.
Notification of cancer is made to the NT Cancer Registry by the hospitals and private pathology laboratories.
The International Classification of Diseases for Oncology (ICD-0) is used to code both the primary site and histology of the notified cancer.
