Abstract
This Workshop was planned by Mr. Bill Green, Adult Education Branch, N.T. Department of Education, following a request from the Principal Community Health Dietitian, Ms. Cheryl Shelley. While all Dietitians have an essentially 'educational role' to
play, the Northern Territory is unusual in that eight of the ten Dietitians employed by the Department of Health are involved in health promotion rather than exclusively therapeutic educational processes.
