The aims of this publication are to:
1. Establish benchmark indicators of the health status of the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal population of the Northern Territory.
2. Measure the movement of these indicators over a period of time in order to evaluate progress towards improving Aboriginal Health vis-a-vis the non-Aboriginal population.
3. Serve as a reference document for those involved in the study of Aboriginal Health.·
It is intended that the information be up-dated annually.
