Abstract
The Women's Needs Survey was established in May 1986 with three
main aims. These were to identity women's needs for alcohol and
other drug services including education, treatment and
rehabilitation; to identity gaps in the services currently
available; and to make recommendations regarding services which
should be available utilising existing resources where possible.
