Michelle is a Senior Pharmacist of Policy & Strategy in NT Health. Michelle began her career as an intern pharmacist at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne. Since then, she has worked in various hospital pharmacy departments across Australia, progressing from a clinical pharmacist to roles focused on her passion—quality improvement. This journey led her from working as a Medicines Use Evaluation Pharmacist and ultimately to her current position in policy and strategy. She has a love of quality improvements, medicines governance and research. Michelle has recently completed a Masters in Public Health from Charles Darwin University including undertaking a first of its kind, Territory wide research project to provide much needed insight into medicines access barriers that occur across the Northern Territory, Australia.
