Abstract
This is the 5th edition of the Guidelines for the Control of Tuberculosis for the Northern Territory.
Abstract
This document has been written to guide health professionals in their diagnosis, treatment and management of tuberculosis. It also explains the measures which the NT, Centre for Disease Control has put in place to facilitate the control of tuberculosis and backgound epidemiology. Chapter headings include diagnosis of TB, Infection control, Treatment of tuberculosis, BCG vaccine, latent tuberculosis infection – diagnosis, treatment of latent tuberculosis infection, contact tracing, community screening and screening in special groups.
