Abstract
This Discussion Paper defines and explores issues about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander male health. It argues that Indigenous male health requires a distinct policy response and the development of a specific framework for action to address the issues. The paper traverses concepts of health, the history of the Indigenous male health movement in the Northern Territory, its relationship with women’s health, the issues raised and defined by Indigenous men and their initiatives, and many suggestions to address them.
