The Children's Standard Treatment Manual is intended for use by Aboriginal health workers, nurses and doctors working in remote communities of the Top End of the Northern Territory.
The aims of this manual are:
1. To improve and standardise the management of child health problems.
2. For orientation of community health care providers.
3. A teaching resource for Aboriginal health worker training in child health.
4. To help promote a team approach to child health.
