The Department of Health annual report provides a record of the Northern Territory (NT) health system’s functions and performance in 2020-21.
It is prepared for the Minister for Health to submit to the NT Legislative Assembly to meet reporting requirements under the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 1993, the Financial Management Act 1995, the Information Act 2002 and subordinate legislation. Throughout this report the terms NT Health and NT health system are used to describe the public health system in the NT and are inclusive of the Department of Health, Top End Health Service and Central Australia Health Service.
