Abstract
This report presents the perinatal statistics for the year 1992. The purpose of the report is to provide feed back to midwives, community health nurses and doctors involved with maternal and child health, as well as providing a source of information for district and Territory health planners and policy makers. The report is not a detailed epidemiological analysis of the perinatal collection but rather presents descriptive statistics.
