Abstract
Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (M.R.S.A.) first became a problem in this hospital in May 1981. Since then there have been more than 550 isolations, mostly simple colonizations, but some with associated serious illness. The threat posed by MRSA can be minimised only by constant care and understanding.
