Abstract
The Northern Territory Department of Health and Families’ Safe Sex No Regrets
campaign was conducted September 2008‐September 2009. The campaign aim was
to reduce the incidence of Chlamydia and other sexually transmissible infections
amongst people aged 15‐29 in urban areas of the Northern Territory. The campaign objectives were to increase STI testing and treatment via a broad media and marketing campaign, increase access to sexual health services for young people, and increase the capacity of the health workforce to proactively screen for STIs. The Safe Sex No Regrets campaign was originally developed by Health NSW for application in the state of NSW, but has also been run in Victoria and Western Australia.
