This document provides guidelines on the management of children and young people who present for care relating to sexual health issues, or who may be the victims of sexual abuse or maltreatment. The document has been developed as a reference for health professionals working in clinical situations. The document clearly defines the statutory requirements for primary health providers in the area of sexual health.
