Abstract
The NT Drug and Alcohol Bureau convened a series of public lectures, on the theme of services for people with acute drug and alcohol problems, between August 8-10, 1984. This report contains the written versions of addresses delivered by the three interstate consultants utilized for this occasion:
Dr Alex Wodak, Director, St Vincent's Hospital (Sydney) Alcohol and Drug Service.
Ms Toni Mayo, responsible for the NSW Department of Youth and Community Services' proclaimed places and homeless persons programs.
Sister Carol Pedersen RSC, Research Officer, St Vincent's Hospital (Sydney) Alcohol and Drug Service.
