The Department of Health (DoH) is committed to strengthening the participation of consumers and communities in all aspects of NT Health including policy development, planning, service delivery, research, monitoring and evaluation.
This guide has been developed to assist consumer / community representatives to understand their role, responsibilities, expectations and the processes involved when participating in DoH or Health Services’ activities (i.e. committees, working groups, and reference groups etc.).
