AIMS OF THE PROGRAMME To provide aboriginal heal th workers with skills to enable them to help their own people with their day to day health and sickness problems without conflicting with their traditional beliefs.

This guide is to be used in conjunction with The Health Worker's Book and the Basic Skills Checklist. This book is merely a guide to what the Health Worker should be able to do and what he / she should know at the end o f his / her training. In other words, it is a list of teaching objectives.
