Abstract |
The Patient Assistance Travel Scheme assists Northern Territory residents to access a range of essential specialist medical/surgical services.
PATS provides assistance with travel and accommodation only. The purpose of this scheme is:
• to promote equality of access for Northern Territory residents to planned specialist medical services.
• to assist financially disadvantaged clients living in rural and remote areas who require planned specialist services.
• to assist with travel arrangement for people disadvantaged by lack of access to resources.
