Title: Aboriginal environment health worker training programme : teacher's guide
Corporate Author: Northern Territory. Dept. of Health
Publisher: The Dept.
Abstract: Preparation of the Teacher's Guide has been largely the work of the Environmental Health Worker Training Task Force which operated from December 1978 to June 1979. The approach adopted in this Guide is similar to that taken in the Postbasic Health Course, Aboriginal Health Worker Training Programme: It has been prepared as a guide only , and not a catechism, leaving those responsible for training free to use it in accordance with the needs of individual Environmental Health Workers and the environmental needs in individual communities. It is problem oriented, to enable Environmental Health Workers to acquire skills in responding to individual and community hygiene problems and thus to learn by doing.
