Abstract: | Health promotion aims, through employing a variety of strategies and learning experiences, to encourage individuals to adopt behaviours conducive to good health. This means aiming to improve quality as well as quantity of life for all. Health Promotion Services in the Northern Territory currently encompasses the central Health Promotion Unit in Darwin and Health Promotion Officers operating in Alice Springs, Katherine and East Arnhem Regions. |
