| Abstract: | The Author demonstrates the use of dextranomer beads (Debrisan) in an extended upper and lower lid laceration. He found the dextranomer beads helpful in the treatment of lid lacerations. The mechanism of action of dextranomer beads is described as well. He is not aware of any publications about the use of dextranomer beads in ophthalmology. |
