Abstract: The northern salt marsh mosquito, Aedes vigilax, is the most important pest mosquito in the Top End because of its aggressive biting habits during the day and night. This calendar shows periods when Ae. vigilax pest numbers are expected in the Darwin area in 2023 in relation to Darwin Harbour tides.
