Transport accidents are a major cause of injury burden in the Northern Territory (NT), making it a key focus for injury prevention and road safety policy. To support future prevention efforts, this fact sheet examines transport injury hospitalisations from 2006 to 2025 and transport injury deaths from 2006 to 2022 occurred in the NT. The data reported includes NT residents and some visitors to the NT. This fact sheet aims to inform the prevention of transport injuries in the NT.
